In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful
All praise is due to Allah the Lord of the Worlds; and peace be upon our Prophet Mohamed and his descendets and companions:
Allah (S.W.T) said:
Surah Al Ana’am(6) Ayah (151): “And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason.”
Surah Al Furqan (25) Ayah (68) “And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty.”
Surah Al Maeida (5) Ayah (32) “Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.”
It was narrated by Anas bin Malik that the Prophet (SAW) said “The biggest of sins are polytheism, murder, ingratitude to parents, and false testifying.”
The word Muslim is derived from peace in Arabic, and the Prophet (SAW) said “Muslim is one who people are safe of his verbal abuse, and the believer is one who people secure their money and family with, and the immigrant is one who migrated away from evil and avoided it.”
Islam is the religion of peace, and you must realize my Muslim brother that you mention peace is your prayer multiple times while you are praying for the Peace; and Peace is one of the names of Allah (S.W.T).
Greetings are a symbol of peace that the Prophet (SAW) started and he accompanied it with Angels. Allah (S.W.T) said “and if greeted with a greeting reply with a better one or the same” And when you are done with prayer you said “peace on you” twice.
It was narrated by Abdu Allah the son of Amr (may Allah be please both of them) that the Prophet (SAW) said “Whoever kills a refugee (or someone who came in peace to a country) will not smell the scent of paradise, and its scent can be smelt from a walk of forty years.”
O Muslims the tragic incidents that happened ten years ago have been associated with Islam and Muslims, however Islam and Muslims are innocent of that like the innocence of the wolf from the blood of Yousif, because Islam is not the religion of terror, and terrorism is not Islam.
If we go through the Qur’an and the life of the Prophet (SAW) and the Caliphates that followed the Prophet (SAW) you will not find a script that calls to the bloodshed of innocents or disfiguring people or beheading people and other forms of terrorism that we watch and hear about in the media. The religion of Islam is the one the religions that called most to preserving the human life; and whatever the terrorist did or are doing is not related to Islam not a bit.
Islam is the religion that called to being gentle with animals, we can see that when the Prophet (SAW) mentioned that a woman went to hell for a cat that she prisoned and has not fed her and a man has went to heaven for helping a thirsty dog in need.
One of the most important purposes of this religion is the preservation of life. Because this human, Allah has created himself; and it was he (Allah) who has blown his soul into his body and Allah has honored the human the highest degree of honors; for Allah has said in Sura Isra’a(17) Ayah (70) “And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea and provided for them of the good things and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference.”
And it was from the sunna of the Prophet (SAW) and his Caliphates whenever they sent a convoy somewhere they ordered them not to kill and elderly, a woman, a child, and not even cut down a tree.
No one questions the viciousness of the acts on 9/11, where a mass amount of innocent people lost their lives; and this cruel crime is rejected by all the religions of the heavens as well as the earthly laws. And if those who committed this crime relate themselves to Islam then this relationship has a lot of inhumaneness. Because of many inhumane acts that these terrorists have committed:
First: The murder of the soul that Allah has forbidden without any right.
Second: They create destabilization around the world, this all lead to countries starting wars with other peaceful countries which has led to the death of many innocents and destabilization in rather peaceful places on earth. This has also lead major countries to drain their resources and hurt their economies.
Third: All of their actions have hurt the image of Islam, and the image of the people of Suna in the eyes of the world. How would think good if the image of a religion is broadcasted as bloodthirsty and murder is one of the easiest things.
Fourth: They obstructed all humanitarian aid around the world.
Therefore we should stand united in the face of terrorism in all of its forms and we should stand united in the face of whoever wants to end a human’s life regardless of his/her religious beliefs. And at the same time we should be there to support whoever lost a dear one because of terrorist attacks.
I end what I said and ask Allah to forgive me, you, my parents and all the Muslims.
